Harvest

It is November 11th and we just finished combining and stripping tobacco. God has blessed us in all crops this year and we are extremely thankful. There is an old saying that you can’t have a good corn crop and a good tobacco crop in the same year; we have had two years in a row of defying that statement. Both have had their challenges with the rain events, but as a whole, they survived and thrived. Our son, Jake lived in the combine while our other two sons Josh and Caden handled the tractor and grain cart. As always, harvest was fun and exciting, especially watching a good crop fill those trucks. As always it feels good to know you have finished another successful year. - Keith
